Navigate the Maize Maze and enjoy the views of Whiterock Bay, Strangford Lough. Pop on a pair of wellies and make your way to the farm where we’ll arm you with a pair of secateurs and a container before you head out into the fields.

PARKING

  • Please use the grass bank in front of the event to park
  • Overflow in public car park

DOGS

  • Dogs are more than welcome. We love dogs!
  • ON LEADS ONLY.
  • Collect all dog fowl.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

  • All produce is living – we can’t guarantee how long they will last after picking.
  • Bring your own secateurs if you can, we will have secateurs on site as well!
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Follow Millbank Farm on Instagram and Facebook for further updates on the Flower Fest Event!
  • All of the flowers are field grown, so readiness and ripeness can vary dependent on the weather. We cannot guarantee complete availability of all flowers.

PROLONGING VASE-LIFE

  • When you get home put the flowers in a bucket of cool water somewhere dark and cool for between 12 and 24 hours.
  • Before arranging, cut 1 cm or so off the stems.
  • Add a little bleach or clear vinegar to the vase water.
  • Change the water at least every other day, snipping a little more off the stems.
