Flower Fest Event 2024

Pick your own dahlias, wild flowers and sunflowers, navigate the Maize Maze and enjoy a picnic on the shores of Whiterock Bay, Strangford Lough.


  • Cash and card payments available.
  • General Admission – £5 (redeemable against flower jars, jugs and buckets)
  • Under 3’s – Free Entry. All children must be closely supervised by a responsible adult.
  • Each person attending over the age of 3 will be required to have their own ticket.


Jam Jar £6.50 (jar not included)

  • Includes – wild flowers, sunflowers
  • Dahlias extra charge + £1.50/stem

Jug £15 (jug not included)

  • Includes – wild flowers, sunflowers
  • Dahlias extra charge + £1.50/stem

Bucket £25 (bucket not included)

  • Includes – wild flowers, sunflowers
  • Dahlias extra charge + £1.50/stem

  • Bring your own pair of secateurs.
  • If you can, bring a bucket to place your flowers in once you’ve picked them. This will help keep them fresh until you get home! All produce is living – we can’t guarantee how long they will last after picking.


  • Come prepared. Wear wellies/ appropriate footwear!



  • Please use the grass bank in front of the event to park

  • Dogs are welcome ON LEADS ONLY.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • All of the flowers are field grown, so readiness and ripeness can vary dependent on the weather. We will limit the tickets depending on quantity of flowers availability but cannot guarantee complete availability.


  • Bring a container with you to get your flowers home in some water.
  • When you get home put the flowers in a bucket of cool water somewhere dark and cool for between 12 and 24 hours.
  • Before arranging, cut another inch or so off the stems.
  • Add a little bleach or clear vinegar to the vase water.
  • Change the water at least every other day, snipping a little more off the stems.
